Ah that makes sense. I will keep an eye on it and see what happens. I am sure it will arrive at some point. Would just one nice to see the decision reflected lol.

Yeah when I got my 'decision envelope' email but nothing in the portal, after a few hours I was like 'wtf? Maybe they rejected it'
This process is nerve wracking literally until the very end

That’s exactly my way of thinking hahaha. Although I assume if they intended to reject they would issue a PFL. That’s my hope for it anyway lol. Still no update on the portal so will wait for the email I suppose. I’m a lot greyer than I was when the process started.
Thanks Andy. That brilliant and made perfect sense. It’s good to know what to expect as it’s just not documented anywhere.
Well, good news for us, I’ve had my two automated emails so the envelope is with the VAC. I’m booked in to collect on Monday morning. Thanks so much for your help and guidance @AndyUK and @mimi234 . You really have helped a lot.

sorry to be a pain. Woo hoo, just collected our COPR. Which is great but is has “Not Valid for Travel” greyed out across it. Did yours have the same?
move read that this message is only telling me it’s not a travel document but confirmation of my PR Status. Just wanted to see if anyone else’s said the same. VFS were terrible and said they didn’t know and that’s not their job to know. Great help.
Thanks mate

Yes, it's normal And I was also a bit worried about it. You still need a visa (or visa-exempt passport) to travel to Canada - that' all there is to it
I actually laughed when I read the bit about VFS staff It's not even funny but that was my experience too - zero help. I felt like it was an inconvenience for them that people come to them

Thats brilliant, thanks for confirming. Oh they were a nightmare. I didn’t go down quietly and ended up with a supervisor coming in so she too could shrug her shoulders. I asked how come they are handing over such important documents with no training on what they mean. Lol.
the queue was unreal and they just wanted me out asap. Apparently I open envelopes too slowly lol. Anyway, I have it now. I think I read that you don’t need an ETA if you have COPR. Hopefully that’s true. Lol

It's just me and my wife and we have our flight booked for 30th April. Not long now
Excited and slightly freaked out now because there's still a lot of stuff to sort out before the move.

Oh wow so you don’t have long either lol. I know exactly how you feel. My mood changes with the wind. Once minute chilled and excited, the next OMG we have soooooo much to do. Haha. Just pleased the legal stuff is all done now. Although portal still not updated. Will do a webform tomorrow if not sorted by then. I’ve heard it can cause issues at the other end.
