Local police certificate and FBI records!!!Help

Do I need to send both local police certificate(USA) and FBI records if I live in New York? I thought they only needed the FBI records.

Need Both. Applied from California, I submitted both

1. California Department of Justice.
2. FBI Record

If Buffalo PDF doesn't mention the local police certificate I don;t bother

depends... Sent only FBI from SC; never asked for state

You may have to obtain clearance from state police for each state you have lived in for over 6 months. To avoid delays, just get it done and include in the application.
