Yes you are right. My employer sent it on 27th March,2012 but havnt received any file number or anything . I am little worried because my work permit s gonna expire in July and I dont want to lose my job because of Work permit.
What you think will i be able to get LMO by then ?
Are there any specific requirements of a company/employer for filing for an LMO such as size, sales, employees etc.? also if an employer wants to hire a family member is there any benefits to that?
I talked to the HR guy today and asked for the NOC under which he has applied my LMO and he said that since I had a Post Graduate Work permit so they don't need any recruitment efforts to be shown and no NOC code is required to be shown.
Is that true actually ? had anyone heard this before ?? I dont knw wat he is actually doing .
No (or maybe there was one, but I was not told there was one), the company said everything was taken care by the lawyer, and said there was absolutely no reason to worry about anything as the lawyer was very experienced in this...... :-[
And now I was also asked not to contact the lawyer anymore, because when the news comes, they will let us know.
Last time I emailed the lawyer (3 or 4 weeks ago), I was told that the HRSDC was reviewing application submitted in my week, so don't know what happened since then......
Although it seems that SC did not process any applications since end of last month for some reason, no one on this forum posted that they got positive LMOs for the past few weeks or so......

Although it seems the company does not want to handle it, so they left everything with the lawyer, now it seems that I got stucked in the middle, not "allowed" to ask either the company or the lawyer for updates......
