Toronto is quite lag in their processing. My employer followed up with them for 2 months until they decided to switch the LMO to "fast tack" LMO (not sure if this is the correct term). I have the positive LMO after 1 and half month.

If you could talk to your employer and give them this option. Just give it a shot.

My 2 cents.

yeah, that's what they gonna do on monday - ask for an acceleration put on file. hope this will help..
so you got your LMO after 1,5 months after they switched it?! sooo looong :(((

"Fast track" LMO? 3.5 months (12-16 weeks) is just about the average processing time nowadays.

Your employer calling up SC could bring the application to the attention of the officers but it won't jump the queue.

It was 2 months regular LMO after that roughly 1.5 months accelerated LMO.

If the regular LMO was not switched it may probably gone to 4 or more months based from the trending right now.

Should not take more than two weeks, remind you he can just FAX it to HRSDC instead of mailing,

thank you Jitu1011, i wonder what specific form he needs for the correction.. if in two weeks time that would be great!

No form he just need to call HRSDC helpline and let them know, he will have to tell the file number and they will verify the mistake over phone. There may be good chance that they will automatically send him a new copy otherwise he need to send a cover letter mentioning request for rectification and highlight the incorrect spelling on existing LMO by Fax.

He already have the contact detail of Offier who worked on this case so he can contact him directly, it can be hours but due to their current work load I wrote max two weeks.

Let me know your Location, NOC code or Program name. I will see if I can provide you more information on that!

Cheers
