Now this is what I am talking about. Finally somebody to give some facts. Many people here are trying to proof that LMO = LMIA but this is the first mention of this on CIC website that I know of.
Friends,
The fact above is very meaningful: agreed ! here is a situation, what or how would you convience with your HR when they keep telling - your position is "LIMA exempted".
and the sad thing here is they dont want to admitt the part that canadians are not found for this position and hence recruited TFW. Im battling for this but looks like no luck,
after a long and painful wait I finally got a fulltime job n here is the EE system asking some more painfull things
dont know what will be the end result !

I am currently working here in Canada under a valid LMO until end of this year and my employer is offering me a permanent position. With the "Scenario 2" I created my EE profile using my LMO number (instead of LMIA) and the system accept it and gave me 600 points. Should I withdraw my EE profile and create again once I got new LMIA? Many on this forum were saying LMIA is a need to claim 600 points.

No need to withdraw your EE profile . If work permit and LMO is valid until year end then your good to go.. Donot worry about LMIA ..it's equivalent to LMO.
