So you need to extend your visitor status now. Assume you still need to wait many months to apply for a closed work permit if LMIA has yet to be processed. Has employer applied before and meets all requirements?

yes applied in August and got fee request 12 December

So being the holidays don’t expect an answer until the new year. Been way past processing times so EDSC must have issues with the application. Still have another 4-5 months of work permit processing once you have a LMIA. Assume you have all documents - ECA, IELTS, experience letters. What type of dispatcher?

truck dispatcher. Once LmIA approved, i have to get work permit from border with in one day
 
Hi everyone, any idea after getting your name on an approved LMIA, how much time it takes normally to convert visitor visa to Work permit? (Upfront medical already done)
