Check your snail mail too - I received a letter with my file number. The letter was printed over 2 weeks before I received it. (which I know is still quicker than you - but it might just be waiting to be mailed out) I'm sure you'll receive it soon.
My employer tried couple of times but according to him its really hard to contact SC on phone and no other way of communication works for SC. But I will still ask him to call. thanks for your suggestion

We are only worried What If they (SC) ask for additional documents Now. For example transition plan and etc etc Where is the end of this whole story. I hope we all go through this successfully.
And....Really?! SC charged yours already??
Why then, ours not charged as company applied like 2 weeks before you!

Did you try to ask SC why you(r employer) don't get the file number??
My employer is bit tired of this whole process of LMIA. I already asked him. Lets see if he will place a call or just wait till the verdict comes.

The person listed for contact on LMIA is VP of the company and SC will only disclose information to him. And he is too busy to spare time. I asked him today too and he said he will try tommorrow. Lets see how it goes.

my husband's company called SC yesterday, and they got a file Number! We still don't know the fee has been taken or not though(It will be on Boss' personal CC).
I hope it will speed up and we can get the result (Hopefully Positive one!) soon!!!!
@ Prahsantbv - Oh yes, they sent it back 4 times complaining of incomplete paperwork. 1 times was when they had added questions after the application was submitted but they still needed answering. The last time was on the same day the file number was given (SC later said that was a mistake and to ignore the incomplete paperwork notice)

Ya , this whole process is so ridiculous and unorganized. Cant believe a developed country is doing this. Thankfully the 4th time, we have sent the application on Oct 6th and payment was take on 14th. I hope the rest of the process would be as fast as this. fingers crossed.
