Hello everyone,

I have 415 points for my express entry profile and seems like I can really use the extra points that comes with a job offer. But my employer would only apply for LMIA if it is not too much work. So can you please give me some information about the following:

What is the process for an employer to get a LMIA?
Is it hard to do so, I mean does require it lot of time to apply or provide documents for it?

Is a valid job offer only mean LMIA in any case?

If my father's friend who is an employer there can offer me direct job offer without LMIA?

You need an LMIA.

hi all the information can be found on google. i also looked into it and its a lot of information to type and compress. It is a lot of work for the employer as they have to prove a lot of things and do a lot of documentations with back up and reports. So just google LMIA and you will find everything you need to know. Good luck
