LMIA exemption for open work permit

Hello,

I have open work permit and working full time in NOC A level job. I completed 1 year with current employer and interested in getting 50 points for valid job offer. My employer is willing to write letter stating that I have full time permanent job with all other details. Do they need to get valid LMIA? Please help!

Yes. LMIA - exemption only applies if your employer is mentioned specifically on your work permit. If not, you need an LMIA.
