I medical request mandatory to get for closed work permit ?

Medical is mandatory for close work permit & you can submit upfront medical also with your work permit application.

Can anyone give real time update of processing time for LMIA based work permit applied from India ? I appied for work permit with PR stream LMIA exactly month ago. I have no updates so far.

A month ago the processing time frame was about 13 weeks. So you are still within the time frame. You can only wait so far.

I was expecting atleast Medical Request.

I had biometric done earlier from prior application. Medical was also uploaded last but it was done oct 2022 so it must be expired by now.

A month ago the processing time frame was about 13 weeks. So you are still within the time frame. You can only wait so far.

Posted processing times are just average estimates so can be shorter but much longer. Would not count on processing in 13 weeks

Received LMIA in 3 weeks and applied for inland closed work permit on 30th Oct,2023, still waiting for the update.. Received interim work authorization in 3 weeks however no update on actual cwp even though it crossed latest processing times.(112 days already). anyone applied in October and received wp?

My IELTS result will expire this year in May. Can they ask for new IELTS result too ?

Applied for LMIA exempt work permit from India on Jan 6th, 2024
Biometrics updated from previous application
No further updates since then. No request for medical exam letter received yet
Planning to do an upfront medical exam next week
The processing time was 12 weeks when I submitted my application, now it's 19 weeks
Joining date is 1st July 2024. Should I be concerned?
