I have applied for Lmia-based same time as you from Oman. No progress, I had submitted Web from and I got a response stating that it is delayed due to COVID. Looks like they are not processing any Work permit applications unless it is a Spouse Open Work permit, Global Talent Stream.
Info from my side. My employer legal representative applied online workpermit @ New Delhi on 22/Jan/2021, got Biometric completed on 2/Feb/2021 and Medical passed, self on 6/Apr/2021, spouse 8/Jun/2021. Since then, not seen further progress. IRCC says current processing time: 20 weeks for WP applications from India. God ONLY knows, how long wait....further wait going to be.
My employer legal representative informed that "A status update request was submitted to IRCC via a WEBFORM-New Delhi. Will let you know as soon as we hear back from IRCC"
Wanted to check, if anyone in similar category have had a response for 'WEBFORM-New Delhi' request recently, to know that they are currently working (or restarted) on our online applications. My NOC code is 2148-engineering scientist (Other professional engineers, n.e.c).
Any update or REX on this front, is appreciated, Thank you

Early June, I wrote to them directly,not via-webform and got a standard response that they are not processing WP due to limited staff availability. Is it LMIA based and do you qualify under GSS/GTS as well ? Today, eod they will update the processing time, which will give us an idea if they have started processing or not.

Yes, processing time actually starts after successful submission of biometrics ONLY. I did upfront medical before WP application submission itself. so in my opinion, clock ticks from Biometric completion date i.e 2/Feb/2021. Anyways, 22 weeks already gone by now. No other choice at the moment, rather WAIT. more WAIT.. further WAITING...

I got the same response from my lawyer. Also they don't know either when WP processing will resume. From GCMS at least we will know what stage it is in.
