I am currently working in USA and my employer has a branch in Canada. I am applying for Canada PR but my CRS score is at around 430. My employer is ready to extend me an offer letter from the Canada branch, which will help me in getting additional 50 points - should they apply for LMIA approval or would Intra-company transfer work? or what is the best approach in my case? If you go the ICT route - you'll need to work in Canada for your employer for a full year before you can claim the 50 points. If you want 50 points now - you need an approved LMIA.

Thank you Scylla, Once my employer has completed the advertising part and applied for LMIA approval - how long would it usually take to approve/reject? Also, any idea if CRS score of 480 will be good by mid 2020(Assuming the whole LMIA process will take few months and gets approved).
