i will quote this from the confirmation of PR and PPR we received "Please
ensure that the validity of their passport(s) is at least six (6) months beyond this validity date"

*the date that they are referring is the visa validity

and about the PP check there website www.passport.com.ph

When you receive the letter for PPR does it normally indicate the Validity of the Visa that will soon be attach to the PP?

@mrs.g, i can't send you my reply i think puno na inbox mo, anyway, tuwing tumatawag ako sa cic, they always say na di pa tapos background check, eh husband ko lang naman ang kailangang ibackground/security check since my 3 kids are still minors, ewan ko ba, wala rin binibigay na date kung kelan ako ulit pwedeng magfollow up basta lagi lang sinasabi maghingtay, isang linggo na namang hintayan, sana naman may mapala na tayo.

thanks geloof! atleast we have an idea.. hmmmm we decided to pass first all our add. req. together with our pssport which is 1yr valid before we renew it and pass the new one..

Hi, wala pa kasi kong nalaman na nadeny ang dependants sa phils. Pero sa pagkakaintindi ko pag may ineligible/inadmissible na family member, hindi rin magagrant ng pr status ang principal alicant sa Canada, correct me if i'm wrong forum mates, siguro pag ganun, pwede kang mag appeal sa case after.

that's what i thought before, but someone posted here in forum that you can remove him/her as your dependant so they can grant the PR of other applicants, better call CIC about it thanks

Felling blessed. I received the passport request and PR application approved letter yesterday.. Waiting for letter of interview and visa stamping for my dependants.. Praise to God.
