Hi,, although I'm a new member of this forum.. I applied under NOC category of 3131 (industrial pharmacist) in April 2007 from CHC Islamabad and got AOR in May 2007. Since then, like many others,,I kept on waiting... now in Oct 2009 got the letter from CHC Islamabad asking me for continued interest to immigrate to Canada... which, of-course I replied with full of my interest.
Now I'm thinking that my category (NOC 3131 - industrial pharmacist) is no more there in 38 listed professions, can this be a point of rejection........ seniors plz comment on it... as there would be many who are in the same boat..

No,there is no point of rejection on this ground as we had applied before 27th Feb,2008 under old category. I have applied on 29th june,2006 and received AOR on 6th SEPT,2006,still waiting for UL.

It's clearly mentioned on CICs website and other links that those who applied before 28th feb 2008 will be judged as per old rules in place than. So be patient and hope for best. They take ages to process applications from Pakistan, isn't it ? What are the average processing times now a days for old applicants?

Could you please tell me that as industrial pharmacist is it necessary to match all the job description they have mentioned or some of them can be ok.Also how can i prove that i worked as a industrial pharmacist.Which supporting documents is necessary for that.
They have mentioned 7 job specification of industrial pharmacist.
