My husband is having trouble linking our paper account to his online account. I have sent an email to CIC but have received no help. We need to send in his police certificate and it would be so much quicker to just upload the document. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you!!
Also wondering about the Open Work Permit - what is the confirmation that they received this? Is it implied they received it with the Sponsorship Application if we got confirmation of that? Thank you again.
Most people who have issues get it figured out with the following solutions.
- Make sure you're entering the correct # of applicants (it should be 2, to include the sponsor and PA, add any dependents to this number)
- Try putting single instead of married - Leave city and country of birth blank and only enter passport info (this solves problems for most people)

Do you need any correspondence from IRCC before you are able to link application? Our daughter is under the public policy processing, we have a UCI number but no application number yet. I did receive an email that they received our request to add our daughter to the public policy and it stated that the application was already in process. I've tried every which way to link the application, but as of yet I cannot link. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
