Linking of application to online account

Hi there!
Can anyone help me in linking my application to online account?
I tried several times but got locked in, linking is not successful.

Hi, we just had the same problem and send them a technical problem report. We are calling the helpline tomorrow but don't know whether they are going to be able to help. Did you manage to solve the problem?

I received my email to link my application online...i still couldn't link it two weeks after I got my email. Then I was able to link it on the following day (So took me 15 days after the date of email to link it).

Hope this helps. Ps I was trying everyday with no success.

What helped me link my application is shown below:

1. Logged in with GC Key account.
2. Permanent Residence > Family Class (Spouses)
2-a. Application Number and Family Name - Copy/pasted application number from email (including the F) and entered PA's last name.
3. City of Birth - I entered 1 space (hit spacebar once)
4. Country of Birth - Selected PA's country of birth
5. Passport Info - Did not enter any passport info
6. Other Application Info - Filled out the other application info as per our application and put '2' as the number of members in the application. I am sponsoring my husband, no dependents.

Again, for 2-a, I selected Family Name, Given Name, Birthday (This is Principal Applicant's (PA) info).

On no. 6, I entered '4' because I have 2 dependents.

But they said you only have one week to link your application. So Can you then still link it even if it didn't work after a week?
Also, Do you remember what you did differently to make it work? Do you remember what information you put in last?

Yup does not matter if they say 7 days to link. I could not link mine within 7 days no matter how much I tried. Like I said i was able to link 15 days later. That was with me trying every single day.
