Linking Application

Hi, there have been quite a few posts about linking applications on the CIC website. The system is quite finicky. I attempted the various suggestions posted by members (including leaving information blank and using explorer not google) which proved very useful and after 23 attempts, this combination worked for me.

Microsoft Explorer, Not Google
Category: Permanent Residency
Sub-Category: [Enter Category]
Application No: [Type Number]
UCI No: [Type Number]
City of Birth: LEAVE BLANK, Do not touch the cell.
Country of Birth: LEAVE Blank, Do not touch the drop down
Passport No: [Type Number]
Country of Issue: [Select]
Issue Date [Select]
Expiry Date [Select]
Province [Select]
City [Select]
Marital Status [Select]
Number of Family Members: 3 (in our case - principal applicant, sponsor and co-signer)
