Linking application

The trick of entering a "spacebar" on city of birth does not work anymore. The system recognizes it and it will still ask you to enter something there. Any idea how to link application to account? I tried using passport details instead, still does not work. I have spent 10 tries already with different combinations. Please help

I entered a space bar after everything. Except city and province if I recall. Also did not fill out passport info.

@MaryL so like when you typed the application number, F*******_ with _ means a spacebar? i mean like you put a space after every word you entered? even on family name?

This worked first try for my husband's app. I make the account in his name. I tried about 6 or 8 times before this. Thinking because we have a representative it shouldn't work. So I try which ever ones are posted. This one came and worked beautifully. It doesn't work for everyone. But worth a shot.

2 more hours then i can link again. i will post here exactly what i did.

i finally linked my account:

1. used application number and family name
2. entered city of birth exactly on IM0008
3. entered country of birth
4. USED SINGLE!!!!!!!!! instead of married. like wtf?!?
5. number of applicants is 2.

somehow this worked. lol

I read about a woman who linked without a file or uci number. So who knows.

4. USED SINGLE!!!!!!!!! instead of married. like wtf?!?
5. number of applicants is 2.

somehow this worked. lol
