Visa approved today and it took 46 days (4 days more than 6 weeks). Sincere thanks to everyone. I check this site everyday and it has been a real positive experience. Thank you folks and here is wishing good luck to each and everyone of you.

mine is also same case, i knew it from portal when i linked my application to online.but today i received first e-mail from new delhi embassy after linking.
 
I have applied on 30th June at VFS Ahmedabad(offline) and my file is being processed to VFS Bangalore, my status shows "reviewing your eligibility"....anyone who has applied before me pls share your status ....or timeline if you have got your visa !! (especially at VFS Bangalore)
