There are less chances of rejection after 7 weeks. Most of the rejections are within 2 to 4 weeks of time frame.

Mr. pratik. I have a student circle who applying for the past one year to canada. I seen many cases after 7 week rejection. Even after 3months. It depends on the situation and applicant profile. I will not post anything without a knowledge about that.

I am from Mauritius. Applied online for student visa on 17th of May. Received a mail from CIC on the 17th of June: 'There have been no updates to your application (xxxxxxxxx) since you last checked your account. Thank you for your patience'. Now it's the 28th of June and still no response from Pretoria Office.Normal processing time is 5 weeks. Tried to call them several times but the receptionist seems so incompetent and advised to wait.

May 20 Lodging of Application
May 21 Confirmation of Submission
May 22 ghost email/update
May 25 ghost email/update
June 2 Medical Passed
June 15 update of Review of eligibility from your application is in progress to we are reviewing your eligibility
June 23 Passport Request/Visa approved

Applied on 15th May. Got the visa/passport today in hand. However there is no update STILL.It is still showing "under process"

And what is the status showing in VFS tracking by id??
