Your welcome. After you send your PR/OWP application, if your documents are complete, the first thing that you would receive is the AOR. And then if you are qualified to apply for PR, you would receive the AIP. After your medical and background check has been done and if everything is all right, you would receive the DM. After DM, you will receive a notice to pay for the right of permanent residency fee and receive the letter for interview.
As for OWP, they say the processing time is 3 to 4 months.

CIC sent me an email today asking for Hong Kong Police. I was super stoked seeing the email thinking it was an AIP. :'(
This is my second submission of PR application since my first application was sent back due to an outdated form IMM 0008(2003). Therefore I filled up the recent versions and resubmitted together with the other requirements. Regarding the Hong Kong police, I sent the original receipt and a "Note to Overseas Applicants" (same note found in HK Police website) with an underlined in No.6 stating HK Police will send the certificate directly to the immigration authority. The address I provided to the HK Police was the same address for the application of PR. To those who worked in HK, did you receive a letter or a "note to overseas applicants" together with the original receipt? I am wondering if the Police Certificate is misplaced.

May 9, 2014 - PR/OWP received
PR application incomplete (outdated IMM 008)
July 18, 2014 - Resubmission of PR application
July 21, 2014 - PR received
Aug. 1 , 2014 - OWP issued
Aug. 15, 2014 - AOR

nothing to worry about,waiting time for open work permit takes about 3-4 months. And there's a chance that you might get your initial approval first before open work permit. Good luck and keep praying

i dont think they will issue you owp since you have an interview next week...they might give you refund because they are not gonna issue you owp anymore i think...when u get the copr u can update your health card and about the new sin you cant apply yet till u get your pr card....just landed aug 5
