Hey everyone! I got my AIP e-mail! That makes it 15 months or so based on recent trends. It's such a relief knowing that progress is being made! It just goes to show that us married applicants will not be left behind. In my case there was no 3 in 1 kit though. My dependent (husband) will be processed in my home country (Jamaica) so we are awaiting LC2 kit from the embassy there. Hopefully they will respond in a timely manner. In any case I am truly happy about this development. Big congrats to jacky0025 and to all others who have had progress so far! To the rest of us who are still waiting, I hope this news will prove encouraging for you all. You are next!!!! Keep them coming CIC!!
Hey guys!! Have you all noticed, it seems like cic just finish upto dec 2013 single applicants to give aip then went back to jan 2013 with dependents instead of continuing to jan 2014 single applicants.
Thank you so much guys! I'm from Ontario. I hope you will get word soon Natsy! May be by next week. Just keep checking or call them to enquire. Best wishes everyone!

Hello everybody.
I am writing on behalf of my sister.
She has 2 dependents and is divorced.
Below is her timeline:
We received your application for permanent residence on July 11, 2011.
We started processing your application on July 16, 2013.
IS THIS COMMON FOR CASE TO TAKE THIS LONG? She has been in Canada since 2009, her kids are growing (the older one is 17 now). We have not heard anything after receiving the letter stating that she meets the requirements and that her children would be contacted from the embassy in Moscow. This was in July 2013.
