hi, when did you recive their email? and what docs are they asking from you? i'm feb. 3, 2013 applicant, married and haven't received any emails yet...i'm getting anxious now...

On an FB account for live-in caregivers, a February 2013 applicant received an email requiring her (LC1) to undergo medical tests again.. Are they bringing back this step? We know principal applicants were not required anymore.. How come she received this?

cic said it is a random thing ..some applicants are still required to go medicals ...ut most are not ... lucky pick i guess.... :

Hi guys. I received an email today regarding medical instruction for my PR application. I have 60 days to do it, i am just confused since I know that medical is not a requirement for LCP PR applicant. anyone had the same feedback from CIC? :'(


timeline:
May 2013 submitted pr/owp application
August 2013 received Open work permit
March 25 2014 received instruction for medical

my ECAS is still Application Received as of today march 25 2014

Hi Nasty,

With common law applicant.. yes i'll call tomorrow and ask about it. I also noticed some timelines similar to mine or some are even later are receiving AIP already. That's makes it even more confusing. I hope this is not a delay on application again for us PR applicants :'(
