Just when I thought I'm done dealing with my consultant. here we go again. I guess i was so excited that I missed some of the info from the letter of immigration. but as i was reading through it just now, it says this
"The passport / travel document that we have on record for you bears the number (my old passport number which will expire this June 2017)."
but i already submitted to my consultant last year for her to submit to cic my current passport that I did last year August, so I was just wondering why is it the old one is still on their file.. it also says like this..
"If you are in possession of a new passport / travel document, you must contact this office immediately."
so now I dont know if the immigration officer would even take my old passport knowing that it only has less than 6 months in it. who should I contact regarding this? do you think they'll even take my new passport? im so frustrated
As stated, you must contact them to update your passport. I would advise you contact them directly instead of through your consultant. It isn't a big deal, don't worry.

i contacted them and says that it might take 10 business day for them to get it/reply, if they wont get if before our landing interview, do you think this could be a problem?

Don't know about your country but in Canada, a previous passport is invalid when a new one is issued, regardless of how much longer the previous one was valid for.

Why?? You have renewed your passport. As others have advised you, take both your old and new passport to the landing interview. You have a valid passport, so it's not a big deal.
No June, send a case specific enquiry via IRCC website. Scan and upload with the letter they sent you. Also call IRCC and let them know. Bring new passport to interview with a letter from your incompetent lawyer she sent it to them before. If lawyer did not you send it state that you gave it to lawyer to send and she never did.
I'm just curious, how long does the passport have to be valid when you go to a landing interview? for example, you've applied for a new one but it's still in process and you have landing interview soon. What to do?

Like browning and I said and as you did last night, you submitted the new passport information on CSE. Just take both passports with you to the interview.
