Lenght of Work Permit Post-Graduation

Hi,

I'm planning to study for an program that is declared by the school 2 year (4 Sem), but is suposed to start on Jan 2011 untill May 2012.

I think I will have only a Study Permit for 16 months.

I would like to apply after the graduation for a work permit, but I'm not sure if they will consider my program 2 years long and I will have 3 year Work Permit.

Can you please help me?
