Left gaps in my Schedule A Background Declaration

Hi there,

I received my AOR on April 17th but I just realised I have left some gaps in my Personal History on my Schedule A form. These gaps were when I was unemployed and on summer vacation from university. Obviously this is going to be a problem so how do I rectify it? Can I just email CIC at CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca with the correct information filled in or do I have to physically mail it in again to Nova Scotia?

I did the same mistake, I sent a new filled format, a copy of the one with the gaps highlighting those gaps, and a letter of explanation (telling them about the involuntary error and explaining the changes i made)sent it to cpp ottawa, on top of each document I wrote: last name, family name/file number/DOB(yyyy/mm/dd)

Pardon my stupidity, but what do you mean by CPP Ottawa? I mailed my application to Sydney, Nova Scotia so should I mail the updates there? Or will a email with the new attachments suffice?

Sidney receive the applications but they are forwarded to Ottawa, you can e mail them but as i sent a new format with signature on it I prefer to send it by mail

on the explanation letter include the next info
1. Surname (last name)– Exactly as it appears on the passport or identity document
2. Given name(s) (first name)– Exactly as it appears on the passport or identity document
3. Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD)
4. Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number / Client ID number
5. Application number ( F#, EP#, E#, B#)
6. Type of application (Family Sponsorship, Canadian Experience Class, Provincial Nominee, Quebec Skilled Worker)
Its up to you if you want to e mail (include same info)
