Leaving Canada with unpaid debt

Hi there:

I was an international student in Canada few years back and left the country in 2013. I left with some unpaid debt since then. Now i wish to entry Canada as a visitor, will I be stopped at custom and not permitted entering the country? If yes, how do I settle the debt? I am from Taiwan by the way.
