Hello all, I can't seem to find some information about this. But I'm currently based in Finland for work and I received my oath-taking invitation for July 5th. I'll be flying back for the oath-taking ceremony and I have to fly out July 9th due to my work.

My question is, will I be able to leave Canada right after the oath-taking ceremony without my PR card, and use my old passport to travel? My plan is to have my certificate of citizenship mailed to a Canadian embassy in Finland and apply for a passport then as I have to back in Canada for the holidays.

Anybody who has had the same expereince before? Any advice/information would be very helpful. thanks!
