its still now allowing me to link it.. I sent my application back on Dec 25 and it got sent back twice due a glitch in their system stating "photos missing" (a known problem apparently) which then bumped my application out of line twice.. I'm hoping it will come back in time but for now im trying to find other options of how to leave/come back..
CBSA should/may be able to `see' that you have been living in Canada, even though exit/entry records are not 100% proof that a PR is in compliance with the Residency Obligation to maintain PR status.
What country issued your passport?
Have you considered changing your return ticket to just terminate in the US, since you've already planned to drive across if the PR Card does not arrive in time? This way, the airline would have no reason to ask about your Canadian residency or if/how you can enter Canada. One less thing to worry about.

I thought about it but its through air Canada vacations and its an all inclusive/ there and back package that was booked back in early December.. when i applied for my PR renewal card.. I don't believe they would be able to change it..

Since you do not hold a U.S. passport, I'm not sure how you can board a flight that ends in Canada without a valid PR Card or PRTD....which you can't even apply for until you have left Canada.
