Please guide me about the last date to submit the application under fsw 2014. As somewhere i read that from january 01, 2015 new program i-e: express entry wld get start however some of my friends from here n office say that last date is 30th april, 2015 for fsw 2014. So iam confused in it. Please guide me on the matter
I think the last day of submission will be Dec. 31, 2014. And CIC will process it until end of April 2015.
By looking at the previous trend of PER received, it averages 4months after receiving your application.
So, if you submit your application this December, PER will be received around April of next year.
(This may have been the basis of CIC that current FSW 2014 will last until April 2015).
But, this is only my opinion. I maybe wrong also. CIC will never launch EXpress Entry while having current FSW program.

So, it is better to pass your application as early as possible and submit it before Dec. 31.
" applications will be considered for processing for the period of May 1, 2014, until April 30, 2015, unless otherwise indicated in a future Ministerial Instruction ".
YES, indeed the program will last until April 30, 2015 for "processing". This is different from submission.
Processing will start "after CIC received your application until receiving your PER (Positive Eligibility Review)".
Global trend PER received is 4months by average. So, if the cut-off is December 2014, expected date of releasing the PER will be April 2015.

I think I am late to the whole process now. I registered on WES on 1st Sept and it took 3.5 months for my University to send documents to WES. On WES website they are saying it will take minimum 20 days because of last moment rush. WES has received my documents today from the University.
Also I checked for my skill under various NOC codes and its already reached upper limit i.e. 1000. Now what are my chances? Will they still accept my application? Is it like that they receive every application but process only if there is cap remaining. Any chances that they pickup from pending queue if some of under process applications get rejected. Please let me know.

Applying under express entry is your only chance. Applications for which cap has been reached will not be accepted, and the last day CIC must receive FSW application is 31st December.
I sent my Application thru FedEx. Its not delivered yet.
Looks like Fed ex delivers it tomorrow.
Will my application be accepted by CIC on 31st December 2014 ?
or is it a holiday in Canada?
You are looking at outdated information from the archives. Last day for current FSW is December 31st. Any application on/after Jan 1st 2015 HAS to go through the express entry system.
