I just got the permanent residence through the Quebec provincial nominee program.
The Canadian embassy in Buenos Aires said that i have until May 2012 to go, but due to my current work it will be best if i go in June 2012.
This is my question: Can i just go do the landing let say in December 2011, at Montreal just for 2 days and comeback to Buenos Aires? I have an address of a friend in Montreal, and them come back when i finish my work contract in June 2012?
Am i going to have any type of troubles? is this ok to do?
This is not a problem and many people do that. However, be aware that if you tell the IO that you will not be there when your PR card comes, they may decide to withhold the card until you are back to stay. This will not affect your PR status. If it happens, in order to come back without a PR card, you can apply for a PR travel document at the Canadian embassy in your homeland.

Hello Ricardo just curious how long did the Federal process take you from the day you applied until the day you received a Visa? I applied in October 2011, it's been 4 months and recently the processing times have gone up to 10 months in Buenos Aires... I hope it's actually less than that..
