Landing Question - Recent border Experience

I'm planning to do my landing at Coutts Alberta in coming few days.

Q.1 I was wondering what are all the documents we need to carry?or Could any one share from their own recent experience.
Q.2 Do you recommend to rent a car for landing or personal vehicle?
Q.3 What are all fee we need to pay at the border? E.g., Toll, Parking or any CIC fee?

Hi.

1. Passport, COPR (2 copies)
I was asked for my work permit which they will not return to you anymore.
I brought important documents, bank statements and payslips just in case they ask.

2. It's up to you. A friend drove me to the border, we parked at Duty Free and I walked to the US border and back. In case you'll use your personal vehicle, just make sure you don't have anything prohibited that can cause you probkems/delay.

3. I didn't pay anything.

2. Did CBSA officer asked you for Bank statement and paystubs?
