Landing on restoration status

Hello guys,

I received my passport yesterday with CoPR. Im in a pretty sticky situation.

I didn't apply for BOWP and my work permit expired. My application for restoration of status as Visitor is in progress.

Is it safe to do landing while im in restoration period?

Have any of you experienced this before?

I am planning to do landing by visiting border later today.

Any help would be highly appreciated
