Hello, I applied outland and came to visit Canada . while here on my visit my CoPR was received and i have received an email from Halifax immigration office for my landing interview to finalize the process. They sent me an email with the general documents to bring. passport, CoPR document, immigration status doc. PR fee receipt and 2 PR photos. I already sent 2 PR photos in with my original sponsorship application. Do I need to take 2 more photos with me? I am confused why i even included the first 2 photos if they arnt using for my PR.
well considering Halifax didn't process your application, it's quite possible they don't have the pictures sent originally. usually the pictures are at the visa office that processed the application, and CIC doesn't assume you'll be calling an office in canada to land. They assume you will be landing at a border. you are going to Halifax to land, so it's reasonable to assume they don't have the original application and the pictures sent with it. it's really not that big of a deal. get the pictures done and land.
