Yes they will ask for info on your COPR. Also they will ask what's your current status in Canada and the expiry date. The CIC agent will make the request for your landing appointment. They will choose an office that's close to your address.
@Shayna22 why did you call them? My wife got her letter that the process is complete yesterday but it said that we should wait to hear from the etobicoke office. do we just wait now for a interview date/time? also can you tell me what happened at the interview, my wife was part of the live in caregiver program and applied as single.
I called because inside the documents I received was instructions on how to do landing. I followed on of the methods.. I am not sure if it varies by province or by application stream. I am in Ontario and I applied under CEC

oh ok. we are already in Canada, our letter just said that we need to wait until the etobicoke office contacts us. if we are already in Canada will we still get a COPR form? or just go for the interview and then they will approve it

we didn't send aher passport as she is already here with a open permit in Toronto. She applied through the live-in caregiver program. I don't know anything about landing or a COPR, we never got anything like that

Just wanted to Check about the timeline to get Landing interviews in April. Would be great to know if anyone undergoing landing formalities in Etobicoke office this month.
Received our passports on 20th and called CIC for booking an appointment. The CIC agent informed me that Etobicoke office would contact me within 2 weeks.

Do you remember how long did Cic take to send an email regarding the appointment time and what happened when you went to the office ? Thanks in advance.
I called them on June 20th. Based on the info I received from someone online, Etobicoke should send an email in a week ( the agent told me 2 weeks though)...
It has been 6 days since and I am waiting for the email.
