How to do landing in Canada if you are already here.
If landing in Niagara, do we have to cross to the U.S. border and get a no entry from there and present it at the Canadian Border Security in Niagara or simply go to CBSA and show the CoPR?

From what a call center agent told me yesterday, you can call the call center and they can make an appointment for you to land at an immigration center (maybe Service Canada?).

It's not Service Canada, it's an actual CIC office. But some people choose to flagpole at the border instead because these appointments can have multiple weeks of wait times

Thanks for clearing that up! The agent was able to give me a timeline for my nearest center - but yes, if the border is far from where you're landing it might not be the best choice.
