There are quite a few apartment blocks in that area where you can rent and it has a major bus station with GO connections. Walmart is in the shopping mall.

If you are planning on booking a hotel for the first few days, then first option should be to ask them for an airport pickup (they may or may not charge for this).
Secondly there is no direct bus route from inside the airport to square one mall. You don't want any bus transfers if you are carrying heavy luggage.
Best option would be to rent a car, or contact a private service (or individual) that offers airport pick and drop.
