LANDING IN CANADA ??? -All You Need To Know.

Hi friends,
GREAT NEWS. First of all I would like to inform you that Alhamdlilla, today, I have received my passport with visa stamp and PR certificate from CHC Islamabad. Still a long journey is waiting for us in Canada… Thank you very much for your guidance and suggestions…

I have received PR certificate 2 copies – one copy for CIC and second for client (presumably for myself). On one copy (for CIC) photograph is glued, on client/my copy photograph is not glued. I have received back one photograph, while I sent them my 2 photographs as per instruction. Have they forgotten unintentionally to glue photograph on my/client PR certificate or they have not glued it intentionally as per requirement? Please share your experience???

Thanks donwin4real. Good to know that I dont need US visa to get an administrative refusal. I thought I will have to apply for US visa first before actually trying to land.

One more thing. I dont have a car. Can I just walk and 'flagpole' and land?

Yes...

It doesn't matter if you went there with your Car or walked! As long you're there, you'll receive your letter for administrative refusal so you can conclude your landing formalities @ the Canadian border.

You don't have to flagpole if you don't want too. You can go to a local CIC office to complete your landing. Call 1 888 242-2100 to schedule an appointment.

thats how it works, only the first copy of COPR has a photo. you're fine so nothing to worry about - just keep it in a safe place till you do your landing.

okk, I got the letter, it says we have to submit MR+PCR+RPRF+PASSPORTS to vfs within 30 days!! going nuts!!
