Is there anyone who landed in 2016 and who has now received their PR Card? How long did t take to arrive and would be interested to know which state your card was delivered to?
Our son is US citizen... He is VISA exempted for Canada. As a result his passport was not stamped . But he has his COPR document, which states an expiry date ( same as my and my wife's COPR expiry dates).
My question is , does he also need to do landing in Canada before the COPR expiry ?
Or because he is US citizen, there is no need for him to land in Canada within a stipulated date ?
He needs to land before expiry of COPR so that landing formality be completed & get the SIN number

There have been a lot of talks about FSW landing in Quebec. All I see is people asking the question, "Can I land in Montreal?" but no one ever comes back to share the experience.
Please, Can someone (FSW) who have successfully landed in Quebec kindly share the experience?
If it helps, a co-worker of mine, who was a FSW, completed his landing formalities in Montreal. He subsequently came to GTA on a domestic flight.
So it should be all good as long as Montreal is just your connection and you have no plans to settle in Quebec.
@nikosyozzer
I landed in May 2016 and got my PR Card on the 15th of July 2016.
It took about 10 weeks for me to receive it. It was also received in a good state.
Hopefully you will get yours soon.

Every new immigrant landed in Calgary please do the security course from columbia college. you will get start initial job soon. otherwise you will lose money and time both.
I landed in March and doing security now with G4S. You need canadian experience or education to get into job. So don't wist your time.
Details I can provide upon request. Feel free to call me 587 229 4030.
I guess the each province is represented by a code in the SIN. So, I would suggest that you get your SIN in SK rather than in ON. Anyone who have done this, please correct me if I am wrong.

I am PNP i landed on July 2nd 2016 at Toronto Airport, my provin is New Brunswick. the immigration offcier asked me why you landed here, i said becouse there is no int'l flight to NB. he asked do you a flight ticket to NB i said yes and i presented it to him.
After Landing to Canada , the immigration officer asked me about my canadian address , which I gave him and he also told me that the PR card will be delivered to this address. Now, Even my Ecas is updated now , In my ECAS ... Under the HOME ADDRESS , my Canadian Address is mentioned whereas Under the Mailing Address , my old address ( the address which I gave to the authorities while applying under the FSW program ) is mentioned ...
Please , let me know that if the this is normal and if the PR Card will be delivered to my Home Address or the Mailing Address , that is displayed on the ECAS.
