Not yet. There an active thread in the CEC subforum on this same topic, so I've been posting over there mostly: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/waiting-for-pr-card-after-landing-add-your-case-here-t162351.5340.html
It looks like there's been a change to the PR card - they're now including an RFID chip and the system has just been switched over. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/2015-11-25.asp - I suspect this explains the delays we're all having. Last time I spoke to an agent she said to add 2-3 weeks on to the estimated time on the website, so that would mean I should hopefully be due to see something late next week.
I don't think so. Urgent processing is for people renewing or replacing their PR cards (which currently has a 183 day processing time). As I understand it, urgent processing just speeds things up to match the time for new PR cards. We already have the fastest processing time available (which is nuts considering how long that takes already).
I landed on 24 september 2015 and I am still waiting for my PR card.. last Friday I called CIC, they checked the status and told me my card was still in the process and I can expect it by the end of December..also before checking they asked me whether I received a request for a new photo..I answered "No".
Can anybody please let me know what is the procedure to follow at airport when you first time landed in Canada as PR. I am outland applicant & visa office is NDVO.
Any information will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Did anyone sucesfully received travel document for permanent residents that have to re-enter Canada?
I cant wait 100 days. Was thinking to apply for that prtd. But it says
"If you have been a permanent resident for less than five (5) years
you must show that you will be able to meet the minimum of 730 days of physical presence in Canada within five (5) years of the date you became a permanent resident."
How do I show that?
