Hello, anyone looking to land in Calgary and would need information and advice on banking services and products can pm me or send me an email at hephzee @ gmail.com. I work on the industry , and a good advice that can help you save time and money is extremely valuable. Being a new immigrant in Canada is tough and challenging, I know that because I have experienced it.
If your experience is in banking and would like to know how to transition in banking here in Calgary, I would be glad to share whatever information and advice with you as well.
I believe you're being unfair in your continued criticism of the op!
She clearly stated that she works for a big bank (and she even gave a pointer to which one), however, as helpful as she can be, she can't be expected to divulge corporate recruitment secrets.
She wants to help but not at the expense of her job, so please let us respect the fact that she is sincere and if you or anyone else wants to find out more info, then send her a PM.
Wishing you and everyone else, a merry christmas and a happy new year!
People need to realize that you cant force a forumite to offer help or give vital information ...and I am sure the madam is probably very busy....If you have lived outside Niaja before, I am sure you will know how these things work...Better to be patient, m sure she will respond once she has some free time...Merry Christmas to all forumite...
Good day forumites, I am the principal application, my wife has a master in social work and also an hospital administrator. I am expecting my MR any moment from now. Dear seniors, I have the following questions:
1. What are her prospects? Either as a social worker or as an hospital administrator?
2. Can she get a job before we land?
3. Can anyone link her with any social worker who can mentor her.
Thank you.
Merry Christmas all and a Prosperous New Year ahead!!!
Please i want to find out if the temporary drivers license is usable in Canada and if its advisable (or advantageous) to get the current drivers license fro FRSC before coming to Canada. We are about to renew our licenses.
To start with, certifications are quite important. I am an InfoSec professional with some few Certs too (CISSP, ISSAP, Cisco Sec., etc)
But you need to know that Certs can only get you a foot in the door, you need real experience in your field of choice to maintain that job.
Focus on the field where you have real experience or relevant training. If you are a Network Engineer, focus on doing relevant certs (CCNP,CCIE, etc.) instead of wasting money doing Certs in fields where you have no experience.
This is where the difference lies with Nigeria. Ultimately, it will boil down to what you know to back up the Certs and not just passing exams.
Additionally, you can also use sites like PayScale and glassdoor to get an understanding of compensations for Certs.
