My friend went to IRCC office but it was closed. They're still working from home for Christ sake.

They ought to be very proficient and efficient at working from home by now, with more than 2 years of pandemic, and doing better at catching up with our applications!

So how many among us waiting for oath update? Lets connect and help each other. This will continue till the passport stage. It seems that they update oath for a bunch of people on Wed or Thursday which one can see online next day morning.

It's rather the opposite. By default beaurocracy doesn't have that level of efficiency for simple reason, they don't have to be accountable. They work in permanent positions, and don't have to worry about loosing their jobs.

@hirenbhaip87 @Kashmira89 @trumprefugee @AGENTOO7 @Dreamlad This is so frustrating with our office. It seems that Kitchener sends a list to NF and they schedule the oaths along with other applicants. Surprisingly they are silent for a month and a half, no new oath invitations. It hurts to see how they are treating us. I am completing 2 years, it was slow during COVID - fine, but what now ?? At least show some compassion towards future fellow citizens. I stopped coming in this forum for months but now I need this done for my family. So sad !

It seems that most people used to get scheduled for oath shortly after DM (like between 1 day to 3-4 weeks tops), but there seem to be more and more of us since late May who are still waiting (plus a handful dating back to December!). Maybe a combination of more people having gotten DM in the past month or two plus IRCC is slowing down due to more agents taking summer vacations and Rogers outage?
