Received PPR email yesterday, long wait over!!! It took +16 months since AOR and +13 months in background check. Best wishes for everyone!

as per the emails, they are doing additional verifications. Unaccompanying spouse is a police officer. maybe that’s one of the reasons.

for me i applied as FSW for PR in june 2017. got stuck in interview queue. interview held in march 2018. after that there was no update. last month emailed visa office. they prompltly responded and said your background checks were going on. now we recieved the reports but your medicals have expired and re-medicals were asked to do. medical completed and passed some 10 days ago. how much time will they take more and are the B.G checks now completed?

usually, re-medicals are initiated once bg checks are complete. you will receive your ppr mail soon.

I’m waiting from May 2017. I applied for the gcms notes(don’t remember if that’s the right name) from May 2018 and still haven’t received it. They say they have a backlog and will send it soon. I called cic and they said i’m in background check, that’s all I know so far. It’s frustrating
