Just half an hour ago, I got an email from "ircc.cpco-finalrequest-ctdo-demandefinale.ircc@cic.gc.ca" with subject line "Ready for Visa / Prêt pour Visa". I was using my university email for all CIC correspondence. I used my yahoo email ID when I got my first study permit back in September, 2013. Now this "Ready for Visa / Prêt pour Visa" mail came in my yahoo account instead of university email. Is it some sort of spam?
Did you mention this yahoo id anywhere in your EE application?
Also can you please share your AOR date?
My UCI number is associated with yahoo ID. After coming to Canada, I have applied for study permit extension and post graduate work permit. All the contacts were made using university mail id. Even I got my medical pass update in my university email id.

As per my opinion my friend Congratulations are in order, you have got the much awaited golden e-mail
. Now the issue is due to your account linked to UCI, it might have been by mistake sent to yahoo, CIC does this all the time, as you are in Canada call them and ask for an e-mail to your current account. Or you can simply confirm the PPR mail sent to be genuine from them and proceed with sending the PP for stamping, what does it matters to which account it came as long as it is authentic.

Also I have a question on behalf of a friend here, as you are FSW Inland, i assume you have attached Work Experience out of Canada.
Can you please answer few queries of mine?
Was your work experience before your study visa or after?
Did you mention the same Work experience in your study file also or not?

My wife is in back in my home country. Will CIC send any mail to her?
I have research assistant-ship (NOC 4012) experience of 2 year and 8 month in Canada while I was in study permit. I did not submit any other work experience.
I had 11 month experience back home. I have been mentioning about this experience since 2013 when I first applied for my study permit.

No there will be no change in CIC account till you get CoPR (Confirmation of PR).

Email originated from @cic.gc.ca domain and it is 100% genuine email.
Nope... Early June AOR applicants are being issued PPR .. that is what I noticed.. whoever got PPR were early June or prior to that.
So we will be getting PPR mid of this month probably..
