Was your test marked completed as yet? You would think by now the updates would show up.
Can someone confirm if when the date changes at the top if there is an actual update?
On Aug 13th i logged in and it said 2 new updates and the stars, since then to now nothing new
Well, for me on 13th BG was updated to "completed" but the test result is still showing in progress. usually it takes 2 days to mark test as completed (that's what I have noticed in majority of the cases). It's been 4 days now without any update on test for me.

The second GU of 14th is a new one. It can translate into a real update tomorrow, like BG completed for example. But not all GU translate immediately and you may not see the real update until a few days later.

Question for all: I have not received email instructions. How to book the test? Do I need to contact ircc? Thank you.
Updated. Check your spam folder first. Then try to call IRCC. The instructions will be in the email. You can take test anytime during the interval - 24/7. Need a webcam capable computer in a quiet , well lit room and a piece of ID. In my history, the test was initiated on August 13. Today i saw the actual update, since it takes two days. Some offices maybe slow, but you should have gotten it by now i think since start date is 4 days away. Mine is Aug 23- Sep 18 and i got the email today itself, right after the tracker updated.

You will get the test invite email in the next 1-2 days. There is no booking process, once your test window is open you can complete the test anytime 24x7 for up to 3 times within the test window.
Does the office that sent the test invite usually do the lpp as well? Or some other office does the lpp? The office doing the test, does the background check , correct?

Check who sent the email. Then do a google seach and you should know. A part of the email usually contains the office location name and you might know just looking at it. I said google search to discourage posting the email address here. Who knows, it might get spammed if its put online. Although im sure many have already pasted it here
I wouldn't say Vancouver is slow. Many slow offices have become faster atleast in citizenship processing. That only ircc may be able to tell you indirectly . If they keep saying in security check , Background etc then you know they are looking further. If you have worked in any country which is regarded as u friendly they may do additional checks . Or if you have extensive travel history

Thanks for thr reassurance. I was working in the USA and have 4 trips to India in the last 5 years eligibility period. Hoping it's not going to be a huge concern.
