Got my first GU today as the updated date says Aug 02.
The Application History section said * 1 New Update this morning but there were no updates apart from Application filed. I know this is a GU but just letting you know that when I login to my tracker now, it does not say that 1 New Update in the Application History section anymore.
Also, we applied as a family of 3 and this GU appeared only in 2 of our applications. No updates in my kid's application yet.
On june 20, we got a PCC request also. I submitted PCC last week. Any idea when would my application start processing now ?
Since June 20, my application has not moved at all.
Anyone else can share experience who might have got a PCC request ?

You say background done on July 31 and it happened one day after ghost update. So ghost update has to be July 30 not yesterday? if in history below it shows july 31 then your background was done on july 31 and you got a ghost update on august 1 which may be some new update not related to ghost update

Like I understand tracker has ~2days delay based on this July 30 - officer open file (GU I got on Aug 1) , then on July 31 officer updated BG (Aug 2 I got update. Please correct me if I am wrong?

You said GU1 yesterday which is August 1, not July 30. For ghost update we see the same date not two days delay. So your ghost update was July 30 and Backgound check July 31
Could be, but like I mentioned above ~2 days delay means for me when databases get sync between tracker DB and IRCC DB. I was based on it. If IRCC office done something on - client will see that in tracker after 2 days. GU1 does not show anything in history that why the only date we have is Aug 1 on top in my case. anyway this would my two cents

Yes that's normal. The * 1 New Update shows only once (both in real update and ghost update). It goes away when you logoff and re-login. It is similar the notification you get on your phone home screen of a new email and once you open the email, the notification goes away.
Yes, the kids applications only has updates at the last stage, Oath scheduling. Until then it will be without any movement to that is perfectly normal.
@hssrp they got ghost update on Aug 2 and it showed up on Aug 3. In this case should the test date on tracker be Aug 1 or Aug 2? Go back 2 days or take date of GU. Thanks
