In my GCMS notes, I see that under clearences it says ‘yes’ for RCMP/CSIS. Is this checked for everyone? Or if this is requested, does my file become non-routine? I have everything marked complete except Prohibitions
I checked mine and it does say the same. I think everyone will have the same as typically everyone needs security clearance and RCMP criminality check. These are at the start of your application, look forwards the notes for a better idea of what is going on.
Your file may currently at Calgary office , so they responded. Ideally Vancouver should set up the oath, or maybe Calgary has access to Vancouver slots. One person from Vancouver had a ceremony in Ontario (their old address) and they decided to just travel and attend instead of trying to reschedule. I dont remember exact places but they did travel a long distance. So cant rule out completely that you might be called in Calgary. Its very rare though. Atleast, It is a good thing they have noted your request to schedule it after a certain date.
I sent an email to the same email address, asking about the province my ceremony will take place and the email came back from a Citizenship Officer saying that my ceremony will happen in BC. I think they have nothing scheduled for first week of December and will schedule me as soon they have a ceremony planned according to my request.

Contact them and told me we sent invitation letter last week, search for it.
But there is no invitation letter in my email inbox.

Assuming you used personal email and not office email? Dont think the personal email providers block and delete emails. You will have to ask them to resend. You cannot attend without the letter. You checked spam and did not set up any folder to forward emails from cic , correct?
That is a hard question. For some people they reschedule in few weeks, for some it takes longer. If i remember you told them you wanted in person and after certain date? Looks very bad that they set it up just one day before. Maybe an in person slot was open that day and they just assigned

I’m really worry as I have a trip planned for late January next year and was hoping to use my Canadian passport to travel.
Congrats to all the June applicants that got their ceremony already! I hope mine comes soon too
Don't worry, we're lucky that the processing time has been reduced from 2-3 years to just a few months in our time. But we're only human and we start to develop some negative thoughts, which is perfectly fine. I'm in the same boat, waiting for the oath for almost 5 months. We'll all get it soon. IRCC follows its own procedure and it's fair for everyone.
