No invitation so far..

Any news about the oath invitation? I've been waiting since Sept 28, 2024.

Just got my passport! That concludes this long journey, all the best to those still awaiting next steps.

Timeline for passport (Passport pilot program)
1. Oct 21: Form + Receipt + Photo sent via Canada Post tracked mail (Vancouver)
2. Oct 22: Oath
3. Oct 24: Canada Post tracking shows delivered (Calgary)
4. Oct 25: E-cert available for download
5, Oct 31: Passport in hand via Canada Post Expresspost.

That pilot is really fast! Much faster than the 20 business days they said it would take.

Yes , I saw one person in a group on FB , he got email for oath ceremony but LPP was still pending on tracker ( as tracker takes 2 days to be updated).

If you don’t get your invitation within couple of days after LPP is completed, no one can tell you how long does it take.
2 weeks? 3 weeks? Maybe couple of months!

This is ridiculous. First, they take forever to complete all the steps, and then they make you wait for months for the oath ceremony. The entire process is just messed up, with no information provided on why it’s taking so long. Even if someone wants to file for a mandamus, they have to wait a reasonable amount of time. Once you spend money on the mandamus, that’s when they start to move faster, but in the end, you’ve wasted your money, and there’s no way to hold IRCC accountable for reimbursing the cost. So why not just process it?zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Congratulations. I applied at passport center and it's 10 business days they say it takes to mail. Mine was mailed on 4th businessday, received on 6th business day , so pretty fast . Regular service centers which don't have authority to issue passport are slower and supposed to take 20 business days

Hey @hssrp and @maverick1982 , I have one question.
I am left with LPP, which is still not started. I am willing to do In-Person Ceremony instead of online. Should I wait untill my LPP is complete and they schedule me for an Oath or I can send a webform now requesting that?
Maybe the CSC agent will just leave a note on my file after the webform!!
