I submitted my online application in September 2022. To this day, I haven’t received the AOR. I checked all my folders: spam, deleted emails, everything regularly and I didn’t get anything. I also tried to get some responses on what was going on with my application through web forms and I didn’t get any response. I think my application got lost in the cyber universe.
Therefore, I decided to submit another application with a different email address.

Please note that I had submitted a paper application on April 3rd received at IRCC on April 11th. To date, I have not received an AOR or returned package. I decided to re-apply online this morning and included a letter of explanation for the April paper application.

Interestingly, 2022 online applications are known to be taking longer time, but with no AOR till now this is weird. Did you try checking the application portal website for your older application ( https://citapply-citdemande.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/sign-in )

Yes. I checked several times and It just says it was submitted but that it is not an AOR.
I haven’t met anyone that haven’t received the AOR. I just hope this time it goes through.

Yes. I put a letter of explanation with my previous application attached including the payment receipt and the web forms I submitted. I put those documents at the end as part of the optional documents.
