Not sure if this is coincident but my LPP completed today morning after I received my GCMS notes yesterday.

App Date: 3rd June
AOR: 4th July
Background: 21st July
Test Invite: 31st Aug
Took test: 4th Sept
Test Completed: 26th Sept
GCMS notes received: 25th Oct
LPP: Oct 24th - Shows completed on 26th Oct.

Citizenship ceremony: Not started. Havn't received any instruction email or anything.

A bit of history here.

1st Round:

Type: Online
Family: Spouse and minor child
Date of Submission: Aug 14 2023
Returned on: Sep 19, 2023
Reason: Minor child ID documents were not in order. (ID1: PR card, ID2: Passport ) They had asked us to re-order and submit.


2nd Round:
Date of Submission: Sep 19 2023
Returned on: Oct 26, 2023
Reason: So damn confusing. Its below

1. I have uploaded only the front ( Name, photo...) and back pages ( Parents details, Address ... )
2. I have triple checked and even the online portal says I uploaded the correct passport to my spouse and child. ( Filename, view the document in the portal )
3. Myself and my minor have only one unexpired passport and we uploaded only that document respectively. DId not mix multiple docs in one pdf.

What is this all about? What am I missing?

I called IRCC and they are asking to raise webform and submit the same document with explanation letter. I am lost. Any thoughts please?

Ghost Update - 20 October 2023

When I logged in for the first time in the morning it was showing "4 new updates" in the Activity section. But, when I logged for the second time then its NOT showing text "4 new updates". Last Updated date is still 20 October 2023. What can I expect next? Also, I do have a travel plan on 4 Dec 2023. Do you think I would be able to get my oath and Passport? Please advise.

Test completed: August 21
Everything else: In progress/Not started.

Does it mean that Scarborough office personnel returned from vacation?

A lot of people from August also reporting ghost updates.

Seems like system glitch. Probably they have updated something on their system and that caused it. Its probably nothing then. Good to know.

Same I have a ghost update today on already updated stuff. That is citizenship test and background complete (which was already updated on Aug 9). LPP in progress.

I am pretty sure, it is either a system glitch or they have updated the system. I can see GU as well but nothing changed for me. However, they have updated the tracker for my wife. They received her fingerprints on 5th September (according to GCMS notes) but the tracker got updated today. Below is our timeline:

Not a ghost update but the tracker did get updated today with Citizenship Test status. Now it shows "Completed"
